Okay - to setup your Outlook Express - please follow the steps below.

Graphics are included to help you see what you need to do. The graphics are large so please scroll down as neccessary.

1. Click your "start" button on the Windows desktop.

2. Slide your mouse over the "all programs" button.

3. Next - please bring your mouse up to the Outlook Express icon and click on it..

After you select the Outlook Express icon, it may open up a wizard if this is the first time you are using Outlook Express. You may cancel this wizard and enter the information as shown below - or just complete the wizard using the information below.

Next - Please click the "tools" button on the top menu bar..

Now click on the "accounts" icon.

This should bring up a window that has "Internet Accounts" as the title bar - here we will click the "mail" folder.

Now - please click the "add" botton on the right side of the window.

Now you are going to click the "mail" icon that opens up. This should open up the Internet connection wizard in Outlook Express as seen below.

Here - please type your name.

- then click "next".

Now the wizard will ask you for your email address. - please enter your email adress and click "next".

Next - the wizard is going to ask you for your mailserver information. Here you must be careful. Depending on what type of internet connection you have - these settings can vary.

The POP3 server - will be "mail.yourdomainname.com".

If you have a business grade "DSL" account you may be able to use "mail.yourdomainname.com" for the SMTP server name. However - if you have a residential DSL account or a cable internet connection, you may have to use your cable provider or DSL providers SMTP server. You must check with your internet "bandwidth" provider to ensure this setting. Every bandwidth provider can have a different setting for this entry.

Once you have this information properly entered - please click the "next" button.

Now the system will ask you for your "account name" and "password". Here - please enter your mail "userid" and password.

Go ahead and click the "next" button. This should bring you to a window like the one below.

Click the "Close" button.

If you used your "domain name" for the SMTP server - please click on the link below for a few more settings you must make. If you used your bandwidth provider - try clicking the send and receive button in Outlook Express.
